Spencer is a fantastic model to work with, we had been trying for a while to find a date and time to work together but the wait was worth it for me. Spencer grew up in the Sequoias above Fresno, California. So naturally she knows her way around the area, and she also knows many great spots to photograph in.

Spencer is also an artist herself and portrays that in her posing, she knows exactly what the photographer or artist is looking for, and it comes so naturally to her. That was the one thing that really drawn me to work with her, I wanted to work on environmental artistic nudes and needed to find a model that was capable of pulling off that artistic look.

We met up in Tollhouse, then she was kind enough to take me in her Subaru Outback to an area that she thought would work great, that way we went in one car. That day I took my Nikon D800 and two lenses, the Nikkor 50mm f1.8 D and a Nikkor 135mm f2.8 ais lens. Afterwards, we stopped at a little cafe in Tollhouse and had a great little meal and talked about the shoot and reviewed some of the images from the back of my D800. I knew I had gotten some great images for the next gallery show that was coming upon a month up in Fresno at the Chris Sorensens Studio.
